It’s time to mark your calendars as The Real Twin Peaks event returns to Snoqualmie Valley, Washington from Feb. 19-22, 2026. This event is a celebration of the towns outside of Seattle where David Lynch and Mark Frost filmed their wonderful and strange show and feature film.
I love finding postcards from the Real Twin Peaks of Snoqualmie Valley that have a strong connection to Washington state. This black and white postcard contains an aerial view of the majestic and sacred Snoqualmie Falls captured by a former aerial photography company based in Seattle, Washington that was owned by a Norwegian immigrant.
I continue my quest to document the many postcards from the Real Twin Peaks of Snoqualmie Valley, Washington. This time, I found a postcard of Snoqualmie Falls from 1906 by James Bert Barton (also known as J.B. Barton). Despite exhaustive research, I found little information about this Seattle-based photographer from the early 1900s.
With every trip to the Real Twin Peaks of Snoqualmie Valley, Washington, I look for new places to explore. In August 2025, I visited the lower observation point of the majestic and sacred Snoqualmie Falls in Snoqualmie, Washington. This short walk down a wooden boardwalk along the Snoqualmie River revels a breathtaking scene.
