The Wild World of David Lynch Returns to Mahoning Drive-In Theater on Aug. 21-22, 2026

Steven Miller01 mins

I’m delighted to see the Mahoning Drive-In Theater, nestled in the scenic Pocono Mountains of Lehighton, Pennsylvania, is once again featuring “The Wild World of David Lynch” this August. On Friday, August 21 and Saturday, August 22, 2026, attendees will take an on-screen trip to Twin Peaks with showings of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me…

‘The Wild World of David Lynch’ at Mahoning Drive-In Theater, Sept. 5-6, 2025

Steven Miller01 mins

As a child, I loved going to the local Drive-In Movie Theater in Columbus, Ohio. I saw so many films from the comfortable of my parent’s vehicle while hearing the film’s audio broadcast from a bulky metal speaker attached to the car’s window. A great example is a Twin Peaks-inspired advertisement from Acme Supermarkets that briefly ran in the Philadelphia Daily News around on…

Vacant Peaks – FBI Office in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me

Steven Miller01 mins

For this Vacant Peaks article, I’m taking a look at the FBI Office in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as seen in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. This scene, which marked the return of the long lost Phillip Jeffries, had a few glimpses without people. The “field office” was shot at the now demolished Cabrini Hospital once located…

Twin Peaks Location – Establishing Shot of Philadelphia from Part 3

Steven Miller01 mins

Late in Twin Peaks Part 3 on Showtime, there is a short six-second establishing shot of the William Penn statue on top of City Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Similar to other establishing shots from Season 3 (such as Diane Evans’ apartment exterior or Yankton Federal Prison), this shot was footage captured by someone else.
