One of my favorite characters in all of Twin Peaks is Chris Isaak’s Special Agent Chet Desmond in David Lynch’s 1992 prequel film, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. For more than three decades, I’ve been mesmerized by his dreamlike performance during the first 35 minutes of the film. I also happen to love his music,…
Some of my favorite things to identify are framed artwork found in iconic scenes and sets from Mark Frost and David Lynch’s wonderful and strange world. Examples of these pieces include “Return from the Hunt” at The Roadhouse, “Sea Foam” at the Double R Diner or the floral still life in Laura Palmer’s bedroom. I’m…
One of the most iconic publicity photos from David Lynch’s Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me shows Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee) sitting on a bed in room 6 at the Red Diamond City Motel. I say it’s “iconic” because it was used extensively for the film’s key artwork in markets around the world.

The greatest joy in my quest to document and archive all things Twin Peaks is finding something I’ve never seen. Take this publicity photo I acquired at auction from my favorite David Lynch film, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. The black and white shot shows Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee) sitting in the Red Room. In…
The great Harry Dean Stanton would have celebrated his 100th birthday on July 14, 2026. Since I first saw him in Ridley Scott’s Alien, I’ve loved him in every film he’s ever done. I’m particularly enamored with his performance as Fat Trout Trailer Park manager Carl Rodd in David Lynch’s Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. I…
I’m delighted to see the Mahoning Drive-In Theater, nestled in the scenic Pocono Mountains of Lehighton, Pennsylvania, is once again featuring “The Wild World of David Lynch” this August. On Friday, August 21 and Saturday, August 22, 2026, attendees will take an on-screen trip to Twin Peaks with showings of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me…
David Lynch’s Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me was released in the United Kingdom on November 20, 1992. As part of publicity for the film, a fantastic Red Room-themed press kit was produced. The kit contained a film synopsis, a chart tracking all the relationships in the film and several black and white publicity photos taken by…
I love finding Twin Peaks treasures I’ve never seen, even after three decades of being a fan of this wonderful and strange town. Recently, I acquired publicity photos from Spelling Films International for David Lynch’s 1992 masterpiece, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. The auction lot included a photocopy of what appears to be a press kit…
