I can only imagine the spike in cherry pie sales shortly after Twin Peaks debuted on April 8, 1990. Cherry pie and David Lynch and Mark Frost’s wonderful and strange show go hand-in-hand, with the delicious dessert being mentioned about 30 minutes into the Pilot Episode. With that in mind, the title of today’s Society6 artwork by Marissa…
One of the most memorable lines of dialogue from the Season 2 opener is spoken by the Giant who visits a wounded Special Agent Dale Cooper. While providing Cooper with three clues, he remarks, “The owls are not what they seem.” This line is also the subject of today’s 30th Anniversary artwork by artist Sarah…
Audrey Horne (played by Sherilyn Fenn) is a powerhouse character in David Lynch and Mark Frost’s Twin Peaks. She transformed from innocent schoolgirl to empowered woman to … well, the verdict is still out on Season 3. She’s also the subject of today’s 30th Anniversary artwork on Society6.
By far, one of the best dressed characters in Twin Peaks is Richard “Dick” Tremayne, who is played by Scottish actor Ian Buchanan. Tremayne appears in eleven episodes throughout Season 2, beginning with Episode 2.003 and ending with Episode 2.021. Ian celebrates his birthday on June 16, so I thought today is a perfect time…
We’ve made it to the half way mark for the Twin Peaks 30th Anniversary Collection collaboration with Society6. Today’s artwork is reason to celebrate as it’s my most favorite beverage to consume while writing these stories. We all know that coffee plays an important role in David Lynch and Mark Frost’s masterpiece. Do you know which character…
I still vividly recall Mr. C’s first appearance in Season 3 on Showtime. Kyle MacLachlan’s appearance in Part 1 at Buella’s Place was frightening, yet left me wanting more. Like that otherworldly scene with Otis, Buella and the gang, the Southern California location where they shot this scene is also shrouded in mystery.
Steven Rhodes’ tour of Twin Peaks continues with new artwork on Society6 for the 30th Anniversary. This time he’s featuring Big Ed’s Gas Farm which was shot in three different locations for Seasons 1-3.
It goes without saying that The Log Lady made quite an impression on the Twin Peaks community. Catherine Coulson brought this wonderful and mysterious to life and we all greatly miss her presence in this world. That’s one reason I’m delighted to share artwork from Cristina Zavala that is part of the Twin Peaks 30th Anniversary collection featured…
The clean and reasonably priced Great Northern Hotel is the setting for many scenes throughout all three seasons of Twin Peaks. Artist Steven Rhodes continues his 30th Anniversary tribute to iconic places from the wonderful and strange town with new artwork released on Society6.
