Sheryl Lee did an exception job playing two parts in Twin Peaks – Laura Palmer and her cousin, Maddy Ferguson. In early May 1990, Lee was interviewed by several newspapers and television programs like Good Morning America. As part of the show’s publicity, a photo slide was circulated containing images of Lee’s characters.

The photo slide contains a split view of Sheryl Lee dressed as a pre-production image of Laura Palmer and her onscreen character Maddy Ferguson.
The slide only contained the description – Sheryl Lee “Twin Peaks” – along with a 1990 date and Capital Cities / ABC.
The image of Sheryl wearing the pink sweater is from a photo session with her making several poses.
The image of Maddy is a cropped photo of a half-body shot of her on the set of the Hayward house.
She wears the same outfit seen in Twin Peaks episode 1.006 when James Hurley, Donna Hayward and her listen to one of Laura Palmer’s cassettes at the Hayward house.
