SHOUT “GO STEEPLEJACKS” WITH ITEMS FROM PARAMOUNT SHOP

Twin Peaks High School Flag

“You’re a jack and I’m a jack, and Steeplejacks are we. And when we climb up to the top, the cry is Victory!” The official Twin Peaks shop on Paramount Shop released a Twin Peaks High School collection. It contains a backpack, apparel and a decorative Red Room-themed flag.

Damn Good Holiday products from Paramount Shop

Paramount Shop also carries a perfectly themed “Damn Good Holidays” collection containing apparel, home decor and even themed-wrapping paper.

TWIN PEAKS JEWELRY FROM ROCKLOVE

Twin Peaks jewelry from RockLove

RockLove released new officially licensed Twin Peaks products this summer. Several years ago, they produced a faithful reproduction of the iconic Owl Cave ring that appears throughout Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me and Twin Peaks: The Return. Now, the woman-owned directed their creative energy toward other memorable symbols from the wonderful and strange show.

Items include a four earring set of icons from the show, a simplified Owl Cave glyph ring and a Log Lady Locket that opens to reveal the phrase “My Log Does Not Judge.” As with RockLove’s collaboration in 2018 crafting the original Log Necklace with Twin Peaks actor, Michael Horse, a portion of the proceeds from each Log Locket sold will be donated to Mr. Horse’s Indigenous Rights group Movement Rights.

GATHERING TRIBES ARTWORK AND JEWELRY

Twin Peaks & The Hawk - Giclee Print

Speaking of Michael Horse, you can find artwork and jewelry made by this talented actor who played Deputy Hawk in Twin Peaks at Gathering Tribes.

The ledger painting pictured above is titled “Twin Peaks & The Hawk.” In this giclee print, the man represents The Hawk in his traditional regalia with the hawk above him his protector. He is praying and singing to the sacred mountains called Twin Peaks which are in the state of Washington. Owls are meaningful in the television series and are said to know everything. The smaller log leaning up against the tree, which gave answers to Deputy Hawk, was left there by the Log Lady, an important character in the series. The black lodge above the mountains was a place of medicine, also important in the series. The spaceship above the mountains is keeping an eye on all things Twin Peaks. Retail is $80.00 (plus shipping).

This artwork is also found on a coffee mug, apparel for women and men, and a tote bag.

INTO THE PINES – AN AUTHORIZED GUIDE TO THE REAL LOCATIONS OF TWIN PEAKS

Into the Pines Cover and Map

Herb Lester Associates released “Into The Pines – An Unauthorized Guide to The Real Locations of Twin Peaks,” a fold-out guide charts 42 real-world locations behind Twin Peaks, tracing the sites that stood in for David Lynch and Mark Frost’s fictional town. The folder includes a fold-out map, and a separate double-sided A5 card with the itinerary. This incredible guide is litho-printed in Sussex, England on sustainably sourced paper, and was produced independently of the show’s rights holders. The guide was written by Adam Carr and Tree Carr and designed by Beth Mathews. They also referenced many of the film locations I’ve discussed on Twin Peaks Blog.

Order it here for $18.00 plus shipping.

CRITERION COLLECTION RELEASE FOR DAVID LYNCH’S WILD AT HEART

David Lynch's Wild at Heart

The Criterion Collection is releasing David Lynch’s award-winning 1990 film Wild at Heart on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray. This was the first Lynch film I saw before I became obsessed with Twin Peaks. The release is a new 4K digital restoration of the unrated international version, supervised by director of photography Frederick Elmes and approved by the David Lynch Estate, with 2.0 surround DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack. There is an alternate 5.1 surround mix newly created from the original 35 mm DME magnetic tracks by rerecording mixer Dean Hurley. He also created a new 5.1 sound mix for the deleted scenes and outtakes.

BOOKS FOR YOUR BOOKHOUSE

Six book covers

Books are some of my favorite gifts to give and thankfully, there are some outstanding authors who have published interesting, insightful and fun books about Twin Peaks and David Lynch.

  • “A Place Both Wonderful and Strange: The Extraordinary Untold History of Twin Peaks“ – Entertainment reporter Scott Meslow takes readers behind the curtain of Lynch’s and Frost’s dedication to finishing what they started, with both the prequel film and Showtime’s Twin Peaks: The Return, offering dozens of original and revelatory interviews that cast a whole new light on the extraordinary show.
  • “The Dreamer’s Path: Twin Peaks and David Lynch the Actor“ – Brent Simon approaches David Lynch’s canon from a distinctive angle, seeking to unpack and assay the sum of his work as an on-screen performer and, by extension, where and how this unique and heretofore unexplored part of his enormous creative output intersects with his broader embrace of “the art life.”
  • “The Road to David Lynch’s Wild at Heart“ – Scott Ryan spoke with 25 cast and crew members about their experiences making David Lynch’s 1990 cult-classic, Wild at Heart. Inside, there is an extensive look at the infamous torture scene of private detective Johnnie Farragut (Harry Dean Stanton) that sparked a mass exit during an early test screening. Scott and music editor David Slusser (who also worked on the soundtrack to Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me) also go step by step through the film’s soundtrack, offering insights about the songs that scored this masterpiece.
  • “Always Music in the Air: The Sounds of Twin Peaks“ – Scott Ryan interviews band members who performed the songs, music editors and directors from the series, as well as uses archive interviews from the late Angelo Badalamenti and singer from the series, Julee Cruise. This book takes a look at all the music that was in the air from Cruise’s 1989 release Floating into the Night, through all the Twin Peaks soundtracks, the 2011 online releases called the Twin Peaks Archives, as well as the releases from the Twin Peaks: The Return in 2017.
  • “Enlightenment and Twin Peaks“ – JB Minton’s latest work is a critical appreciation arguing that Twin Peaks functions as consciousness training disguised as television – that Lynch’s fifty-two years of daily Transcendental Meditation practice so refined his awareness that he could construct a narrative reproducing the actual structure of consciousness itself, requiring viewers to operate as witnessing awareness in order for the story to cohere.
  • “Where’s David Lynch?“ – Illustrated with incredible detail by British artist Kev Gahan, this book is an interactive homage to one of cinema’s most unique minds: David Lynch. On each page, Lynch hides among the characters that inhabit his dreamlike cinematic worlds, ready for the eagle-eyed reader to spy him in the crowds. These illustrations capture the eerie external (and internal) landscapes of Twin Peaks, the decaying suburbia of Blue Velvet, the neo-noir anxiety of Mulholland Drive, and more!

Double R Dream, I Know Catherine, I Don't Know Jack posters

If you’re looking for unique documentaries, I have three recommendations that feature both the Real Twin Peaks of Snoqualmie Valley, Washington and two beloved actors.

  • The Double R Dream – In February 2026, author and lifelong Twin Peaks fan Scott Ryan, at the ripe age of 55, put on an apron and became a busser at Twede’s Cafe for six days. Why? Because it is the actual filming location of Mark Frost and David Lynch’s Twin Peaks. Diner owners Rachel Bennett and Max Spears agreed to the request, and this 45-minute documentary covers why this location brings fans from around the world, and how Ryan was able to live inside his dream while serving pie and coffee during The Real Twin Peaks Event. ($24.98)
  • I Know Catherine, The Log Lady – This touching and insightful documentary that dives into the life of Catherine E. Coulson, best known for her iconic role as the mysterious Log Lady in the TV series Twin Peaks. The film explores her personal journey, career, and the deep connection she shared with her most famous character. Through interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and reflections from those who worked with her, the documentary highlights Coulson’s unique talent, her love for acting, and the lasting impact of the Log Lady on fans and the world of television. ($20.00)
  • I Don’t Know Jack – This documentary is about the life of Jack Nance, the actor famous for his roles in Eraserhead and Twin Peaks. The film uses interviews, old footage, and stories from those who knew him to tell the story of his career and his unique personality. Nance was known for his distinctive look and strong performances, especially in David Lynch’s films. I Don’t Know Jack highlights the lasting impact Nance had on film and TV, showing how his mysterious life and work continue to be remembered. ($20.00)

Scott released Twin Peeks that documented his view of Twede’s Cafe from his second story studio across the street. For seven years, Scott kept a camera leaded with film pointed at Twede’s Cafe parking lot. He stayed alert for any strange or amusing happenings outside the diner. His diligent observations resulted in a collection of work that feels both “spontaneous and revealing,” and showcases what I love most about Lynch and Frost’s show – it’s creative and intelligent fans. Twin Peaks people are some of the best people I know (and they certainly love to party).
