This year’s Twin Peaks Day festivities in the Real Twin Peaks of Snoqualmie Valley, Washington concluded with a live performance by the Pacific Northwest’s “magickal music duo” Wisteria Lodge at Twede’s Cafe. Lady K and outlaw multi-instrumentalist Dusty Highway played from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on February 24, 2026 in a corner of the North Bend diner known for it’s damn fine coffee and heavenly slices of cherry pie.
THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE HOME: WISTERIA LODGE AT TWEDE’S CAFE ON FEBRUARY 24, 2026

Twede’s Cafe, located at 137 West North Bend Way, served as the film location for the Double R Diner in Twin Peaks, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me and Twin Peaks: The Return. It’s a must see destination when visiting Snoqualmie Valley as it feels like you are stepping into Mark Frost and David Lynch’s wonderful and strange world.
Wisteria Lodge performing at Twede’s Cafe has become a beloved tradition for Twin Peaks Day, a day marking the moment Special Agent Dale Cooper enters the fictional town of Twin Peaks to investigate Laura Palmer’s murder. In 2025, they played two shows during the Real Twin Peaks event including taking the stage at the historic North Bend Theatre and the “Pie-N-Cry” gathering at Twede’s in memory of the late David Lynch.
This year’s performance at the small town cafe was titled “There’s No Place Like Home.” Fans were encouraged to dress up as favorite Twin Peaks characters while enjoying a lovely community gathering filled with lots of cherry pie.
Here is a nearly two-hour video of the band performing in the front left corner of Twede’s Cafe. My iPhone battery died toward the final 15 minutes of their show, so I switched to my Canon cameras to capture the remaining songs.

The band posted their proposed set list on their Instagram account. I love how the list was written on the back of a torn envelope. The numbers are backing track codes which Dusty selected during the show.
They slightly modified their set list for the night by dropping a handful of songs and rearranging the play order. While there were a handful of covers, including my favorite “Shadow” originally recorded by The Chromatics, they played selections from their two albums, “Spoken Secrets” and “Odessa Plains.”
- Magdalena – from “Spoken Secrets” album
- Shadow – originally recorded by The Chromatics
- Mercy – from “Spoken Secrets” album
- Lark – originally recorded by Au Revoir Simone
- Devil’s Swagger – from “Odessa Plains” album
- Wild West – originally recorded by Lissie
- Blue Rose – From “Odessa Plains” album
- Rearview – from “Spoken Secrets” album
- Exit – from “Spoken Secrets” album
- The Wait – from “Odessa Plains” album
- Nothing – from “Odessa Plains” album
- Burning the Sky – from “Odessa Plains” album
- Axolotl – originally recorded by The Veils
- Pink Pony Club – originally recorded by Chappell Roan
- Torchbearer – from “Odessa Plains” album
- Kaleidoscope – from “Odessa Plains” album
- Horizon Gaze – from “Odessa Plains” album
- Black Sheep – originally recorded by Metric
- Falling Into Sin – from “Spoken Secrets” album
I was looking forward to photographing Wisteria Lodge that night with my newer 100-500m Canon lens. I parked at a counter stool near where they set up. The telephoto lens helped me capture some fantastic shots that really filled the frame.
I loved these shots of Lady K signing under the red light with a faint hint of neon from the North Bend Theatre and Dusty’s tattooed hand strumming his trusty guitar.
Wisteria Lodge always gives a great performance that’s full of playfulness, raw emotion and fun. The top two images were from the first hour of their 120 minute show, while the bottom shows a slightly more relaxed Dusty sans jacket as day gave way to night.
It’s wild to think this band played in the same corner that was filmed more than 37 years ago for what became the Twin Peaks pilot.

It’s a brief panning shot that follows Heidi the waitress as she walks toward the entrance to the Double R Diner.
During the night, I caught Twede’s Cafe owner Rachel lost in the music. I couldn’t help but think of Peggy Lipton who played Norma Jennings in Twin Peaks. An on-set photo of her in February 1989 had her standing around the same spot as Rachel. I’m incredibly grateful for how Twede’s Cafe has been incredibly welcoming to fans from around the world.
I would later catch a silhouette of Rachel watching Lady K singing.
TWIN PEAKS COSPLAY AT TWEDE’S CAFE
Attendees were encouraged to dress as favorite Twin Peaks characters. I particularly enjoyed seeing the Log Lady complete with a Log.
The owls were not what they seem over dinner. This is the same couple who dressed as Mr. Tojamura and the Red Room during the damn fine dance party during the Real Twin Peaks 2026 event.
But the cosplay that made even Dusty and Lady K stop to look was Bonne-Vejou Dorrell who dressed as a Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Deputy. When he walked in the front door, I thought he was Deputy Hawk for a moment.
I captured a few additional shots of him sitting at the counter enjoying hot black coffee. High marks all around for such an authentic looking outfit!
SOME OF YOUR FRIENDS ARE HERE
The best part about these events at Twede’s Cafe is seeing so many people who enjoy the wonderful and strange world of Twin Peaks like I do. It’s a rare occasion but Jessica Self from the North Bend Downtown Foundation got me in front of the camera for a quick photo while the band played. Here are a few other friends who enjoyed pie, coffee and damn good music at Twede’s Cafe that night.
As the show neared the end, Dusty and Lady K took a moment to acknowledge the evening. Dusty shared the following:
“So really quickly, I just want to bring us all back together really quickly. If you’d like to join us, I’d like to lead us in an exercise. As you know, David Lynch was a very big meditator. Now, whatever your belief system, whatever you pray to, or whatever you don’t believe in, that’s fine. We’re gonna share a moment together. That’s all we’re gonna do. We’re going to be together and share this moment, okay?
If you feel so compelled to close your eyes but the idea is that we’re going to share a moment together in this most sacred and holy place filled with cherry pie and coffee, universal signs of love and goodness, right? So here we go.
This world that we gather in feeds off a vibration. When two or more people are gathered, the vibration is even stronger. We gather today to receive love, to give love, to remember the iconic David Lynch, to share our darkness, to share our light and to become better people. Through this dream that we dream together, we can create an amazing world.
I’d like to invite you now to dream the world we want to see, so we can be a part of it. I’d like you to dream peace. I’d like you to dream love. I’d like you to dream a freeness of disease, for it to be over, for there to never be cancer or suffering. I’d like you to dream Wisteria Lodge gets a massive record deal and I’d like you to keep this dream alive in this small town, in this little diner that holds the hope of countless people across the world, holding it in their hearts. And remember, this Twin Peaks Day. Remember the moment we gathered with friends to believe that love is enough and that hope is real. Thank you for sharing that with me. I appreciate it.”
Next time you’re at Twede’s Cafe, check out the scrapbook that Rachel created to honor David Lynch. It’s filled with letters, artwork, notes and more from people who wanted to say something about him. It’s truly a testament to an individual who was loved by so many.
Thank you Wisteria Lodge for another amazing performance! I’m also grateful to Rachel, Max and the entire Twede’s Cafe crew (including Scott Ryan who moonlighted as an employee during the Real Twin Peaks event this year).
