On Saturday, February 21, 2026, Twin Peaks fans from around the world gathered at Snoqualmie Falls Brewery in downtown Snoqualmie for an evening of trivia followed by a dance party that ran until the early morning hours. Admission was free and the fun was neverending at this annual Real Twin Peaks tradition.
ULTIMATE TWIN PEAKS TRIVIA AT SNOQUALMIE FALLS BREWING
Long-time Twin Peaks expert Josh Eisenstadt returned to host the Ultimate Trivia challenge for the Real Twin Peaks event. Josh has been hosting these tests of wonderful and strange knowledge about the groundbreaking show for years. Two years early, he held the expert-level trivia contest in the same location, 8032 Falls Avenue Southeast,
“Five beer geeks” – Pat Anderson, David McKibben, Dave Eiffert, LeRoy Gmazel and Tom Antone – first opened Snoqualmie Falls Brewery on December 20, 1997. Anderson formulated the original beers, and initial batches of each were brewed by McKibben who was assisted by Anderson. The Wildcat IPA is their longest running beer (it’s no coincidence the Mount Si High School mascot in Snoqualmie is also called the Wildcat).
In 2017, the brewery released Ghostwood, a Kölsch style ale, that is a direct nod to Twin Peaks and Benjamin Horne’s proposed development.
Everyone gathered on the second floor of the brewery and those seeking to play the game huddled to the left of Josh and Charlene Weiss.
Once folks were situated, Josh described how the game would be played. He went down the line asking participants a series of questions.
The most impressive thing to see was Josh’s typed questions (slightly blurred in this photo to protect future game play). All of the questions came from his mind as Josh knows David Lynch and Mark Frost’s show forward and back.
Once someone answered the question correctly, the microphone was passed to the next player. In this case, “Regional Bureau Chief Gordon Cole” responded to Josh’s prompt.
He then handed the microphone over to another player dressed like a Double R Diner waitress.
Trivia questions continued with an oral surgeon named Fred taking turns at Josh’s challenge.
I captured a moment where something rather entertaining was said. There is quite a supportive network of folks who play Josh’s game. No one is ever made to feel dumb and Josh does a great job making sure people have a great time. There is a lot to know about the show so it’s okay if someone stumbles along the way.
There were so many players during the first round that the microphone crossed from one side of the room to the other side.
Even those seated on the couches, like Brian, had a turn to answer Josh. It was such a treat to see this many people gathered in one room, especially with some rather intense nighttime weather outside. You could hear the trees roaring as wind whipped through the branches.
At one point, Josh was discussing David Lynch and the brewery’s lights flickered. The image above was not that moment but imagine those overhead lights surging on and off for a brief moment. Josh said David’s name again and they came back on. It never happened again during the rest of the party night. We all felt David’s spirit watching over the fun contest.
Gameplay continued with Josh identifying participants for the second round. Those eliminated during the first round moved out of the seating area which helped Josh identify who was left to play.
As the final round approached, there were a series of topics that each contained questions. Charlene helped tally points on a movable dry erase board positioned in the back of the room.
Following a series of rather challenging questions, the final three contestants were identified – Kristin, Norbert and Nova. The trio sat together on the bench by a second floor window as the gathered crowd looked on.
Each final round contestant took turns answering Josh. Nova is seen in deep thought before offering a correct response.
Dressed in warm winter attire, Kristin answered Josh’s inquiry.
Norbert also tried his hand at Josh’s rather tough questions. The rounds proceeded until all the topic questions were answered. Josh then had to make up some additional questions since Kristin, Norbert and Nova really knew their Twin Peaks trivia.
The winner of the final round would take home the trophy being proudly displayed by Charlene and Jessica.
What an impressive trophy created by the talented Mary Hütter. It’s a nod to episode 1.002 where Special Agent Dale Cooper uses his powers of deduction (and a little magic) to narrow down a list of suspects.
Mary said it took her about a week to create the figure. She used a Precious Moments figurine as the base. For this trivia contest, Mary has long believed that the final trophy needs to be something special, not just a $10 trophy that anyone can purchase at a store. It’s amazing how this figurine would soon become Agent Cooper for the final product.
Nova was named the first place winner for the Real Twin Peaks 2026 Ultimate Trivia Challenge.
All final round participants received the complete set of 25 Real Twin Peaks postcards that I created using photographs I captured between 2019-2025. This was an impossible set to collect as only five randomly selected cards were included in each of the Dugpa(ss) VIP ticket holder bags.
Here are the final scores, with Nova scoring 3,600, Kristin taking second place with 1,800 and Norbert placing third with 1,400 points.
Congratulations to all participants who tried their hand at Josh’s trivia game. Just like Mike Nelson, I can say that “Josh is the man! Josh … IS the man!”
DAMN FINE DANCE PARTY AT SNOQUALMIE FALLS BREWERY
With the Ultimate Trivia Contest complete, the second floor of Snoqualmie Falls Brewery turned into a Damn Fine Dance Party. Like the trivia game, admission was free and attendees were encouraged to dress in fancy attire.
DJ Dwaine Wheeler and DJ Malice provided the music. I love the video mix that Dwaine creates to accompany tunes. I caught an image of him looking at Jack. Dwaine had a whole planned set but with the crowd’s energy, he scrapped it and his long-time deejaying experience took over.
While fancy dress was encouraged, some attendees dressed up like favorite Twin Peaks characters. I couldn’t believe that Mr. Tojamura showed up complete with the cashier’s check for $5 Million. He was pictured with the Black Lodge / Red Room personified.
After winning the trivia contest, Nova quickly changed into her Jeffrey Marsh outfit. I couldn’t stop laughing at this rather deep cut from the show’s second season. Dan’s “Fred the oral surgeon” outfit along with Kayla dressed as Nadine in her Twin Peaks High School phase were spot on.

Cara Glenovich and Jared Knapp looked amazing as Diane Evans and Gordon Cole.
Bethany Summersizzle dressed as a Double R Diner waitress. She was seen with “Bobby Briggs” and later with Nadine.
In addition to the themed costumes and dance party, the officially licensed Twin Peaks standees from Paramount Shop were placed throughout the room. They were the perfect addition to selfies.
The dance floor stayed busy throughout the night as DJ Dwaine spun a fantastic mix. As David Lynch once said, “Twin Peaks people are party people.”
This event is such a unique mix of folks, all who love David Lynch’s work. I liked the back of this long-sleeved shirt with a quote from “In Heaven” From Lynch’s Eraserhead. I also spotted The Great Northern Hotel sweater from Paramount Shop.
Dancing continued well past midnight when the party was supposed to end. The staff at Snoqualmie Falls Brewery was supportive of the late night celebration and I think we stayed until about 2:00 a.m.!
The trivia contest was fun and the dance party was out-of-this-world, but it’s the friendships that last forever. I love how the Real Twin Peaks of Snoqualmie Valley call to people from every corner of the globe.
There is a shared bond between people set against a backdrop of cherry pie and damn fine coffee.
I’m truly grateful for everyone who attended the party this year. What a memory! Here are a few other attendees that had a damn fine time. You can see even more photos from the trivia contest and dance party on my Flickr account – https://www.flickr.com/photos/aloha75/albums/72177720332251282
