With the Real Twin Peaks 2025 event returning to Snoqualmie Valley, Washington from Feb. 21-24, I’m channeling Connie Francis from the Mulholland Drive motion picture soundtrack. Here are 16 reasons why you’ll love attending this celebration of the towns and places where David Lynch and Mark Frost’s wonderful and strange show was filmed.

Since 2023, the panel discussions at the Real Twin Peaks events have been the highlight of the entire weekend. These free gatherings feature long-time fans and other Twin Peaks or David Lynch experts talking about a number of topics, from props to film locations to the incomparable Part 8 from The Return.

TWIN PEAKS JAZZ!
A highlight for me from the Real Twin Peaks 2024 was Twin Peaks Jazz at Boxley’s in North Bend. This year a Quintet returns to town with Andrew Glynn on Saxophone, Eric Verlinde on Piano, Michael Glynn on Bass, Sutton Marley on Drums and Brian Kirk on Vibes.

MARIZY DOATS AND DOZY DOATS – RAY WISE COMES TO TOWN
Ray Wise who played Leland Palmer will be at the North Bend Theatre on Friday, Feb. 21 for a showing of Robocop followed by a question and answer session hosted by Mike McGraner and an autograph session. He’ll return to the theatre on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. for another question and answer / autograph session. I first saw him at Studio 35 in Columbus, Ohio during a screening of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me in July 2019. He was hilarious and has the best stories from a long acting career! TESTING YOUR TWIN PEAKS TRIVIA
Twin Peaks Trivia hosted by Josh Eisenstadt will take place on Friday, Feb. 21 from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. at William Grassie Wine, 7802 Center Blvd SE Suite A, Snoqualmie. Josh knows more than you can imagine about Lynch and Frost’s series and has hosted trivia sessions at events over the years.
CHERRY PIE AND COFFEE AT TWEDE’S CAFE
There is no greater joy than enjoying cherry pie and a damn fine cup of coffee at Twede’s Cafe located at 137 W. North Bend Way, North Bend. This location served as the Double R Diner throughout the series and motion picture (though some scenes from the first two seasons where captured on a set in Van Nuys). The cafe will be busy during the Real Twin Peaks weekend but it’s worth the wait!
BE FOREVER YOUNG AT THE TWIN PEAKS HIGH SCHOOL PROM
Be “Forever Young” at the Twin Peaks High School 1989 Junior-Senior Prom on Feb. 22 from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Join a night of dancing, live music, and prom festivities at Sno-Valley Eagles at 8200 Railroad Avenue, Snoqualmie. A Prom King and Queen will be crowned that night and will feature music by the incredible DJ Dwaine Wheeler and a special performance by Prom Queen. You can purchase boutonnières and corsages from snoqualmieflowers.com. Tickets are included with VIP tickets or are $40 for individual ticket.
SHOVELING YOUR WAY OUT…
Channel Dr. Amp as you shovel your way out of the … well, you get the idea. Volition Brewing Co. at 112 W North Bend Way, North Bend will offer their Golden Shovel British Golden Ale. This local craft brewery was filming location of Nadine’s shop, Run Silent, Run Drapes! They are holding a pinball tournament at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23.

I am thrilled that Wisteria Lodge will return to Real Twin Peaks this year. I first discovered their music at the 2023 event and was captivated by their unforgettable performance. Stop by the North Bend Theatre to see the Walk of Fame with handprints by Sheryl Lee and Kyle MacLachlan. Ray Wise will be making his handprints this year.

CELEBRATING TWIN PEAKS DAY ON FEB. 24
If you can stick around for Monday, February 24, there will be a reading of official proclamation for Twin Peaks Day. From 10:00 a.m. to Noon, join fellow fans as we commemorate the day when Special Agent Dale Cooper first enters the town of Twin Peaks at 11:30 a.m. on February 24. Complimentary North Bend Bakery Doughnuts will be available at Sno-Valley Eagles.
ENJOYING TWIN PEAKS BREAKFAST AT SALISH LODGE

TAKING A WINE-THEMED TRAIN RIDE THROUGH SNOQUALMIE VALLEY
The Northwest Railway Museum is holding their Peak-To-Peak Express on Feb. 23 starting at 2:30 p.m. This event for those 21 and up will offer spectacular views of the river valley while passing by some Twin Peaks filming locations. Passengers will also enjoy hors d’oeuvres, including cherry pie, and wine provided by Kyle MacLachlan’s winery, Pursued By Bear. Tickets at trainmuseum.org
