Twin Peaks Prop – Thermo-Serv Tahitian Holiday Mug

Steven Miller01 mins

Lately I’ve been spending time identifying a variety of props found in Twin Peaks. I love the thrill of the hunt and the endorphin rush when I finally find a match. This effort to identify all of the props has turned into a team sport which is fantastic! After I published an article about a Con-way…

Costuming Peaks – Donna Hayward’s CCM Jersey

Steven Miller21 mins

Ever since I first saw Episode 1001 of Twin Peaks, I’ve wondered about the outfit Donna Hayward wears in this scene. It’s the only time in the series that she wears this combination. On a whim, I searched “CCM Jersey 1990s” since the CCM logo is clearly visible. I instantly found two matches, with one…

Twin Peaks Location – Buckhorn Police Department Exterior

Steven Miller01 mins

After visiting Frame of Mind Pictures in Glendale, California to see the David Lynch-themed art exhibit, I quickly stopped by the film location that served as the Buckhorn Police Department exterior in Twin Peaks. This historic building is now home to the Los Angeles Police Museum and it appears a few times throughout Season 3.

Now for a deep cut from the Johnson house. You may remember I previously identified the sunflower napkin holder in their kitchen. I return to this spot with details about a prop placed on top of their cupboard.

Trip Report – Frame of Mind Pictures Presents David Lynch

Steven Miller01 mins

During a much needed, week-long vacation in Southern California, I dropped by Frame of Mind Pictures in Glendale to check out a new art exhibit celebrating milestone anniversaries for David Lynch’s The Elephant Man, Wild at Heart and Twin Peaks. Curated by Master Framer Tommy Ardolino, this free exhibit is on display through June 12, 2021. I spent…

Twin Peaks Prop – Currier and Ives at the Double R Diner

Steven Miller11 mins

I love finding new things to share. This one happened by accident as I was desperately searching for something completely unrelated when I stumbled upon three Currier and Ives prints found at the Double R Diner in the show’s first two seasons. These three pieces join other previously identified artwork including Norman Yeckley’s “Spring Formal”…

Twin Peaks Prop – Sheriff Truman’s U.S. President Trash Can

Steven Miller01 mins

While recently searching for the Con-way Central Express (CCX) mug prop in various scenes taking place at the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station, something caught my eye in Sheriff Truman’s office. We all know Truman’s name is reminiscent of the 33rd President of the United States, Harry S. Truman. It appears that his love of presidents…

Twin Peaks Prop – CCX Trucking Miles Ahead Mug

Steven Miller01 mins

One of my favorite things to find are props that were carried over from the Pilot Episode to the regular season of Twin Peaks. Thanks to the help of fellow Bookhouse Boy Jason McMahan, I recently picked up a replica of the Con-way Central Express (CCX) Miles Ahead mug that is seen both in the Pilot…

Love Letter to Clark Middleton – Charlie in Twin Peaks

Steven Miller01 mins

In a year that has been filled with immeasurable loss, it is with heavy heart that I pen this Love Letter to Clark Middleton. He played Charlie in Twin Peaks Season 3 on Showtime and passed on Sunday, October 4 at age 63 after contracting West Nile Virus. Appearing in four episodes, Clark’s character Charlie left a…

Twin Peaks Location – Horne’s Department Store Interior

Steven Miller01 mins

I love a good challenge. For the longest time, I’ve wondered where the interior of Horne’s Department Store from Twin Peaks – Episode 1006 was shot. Thanks to a challenge from a long-time fan and fellow Bookhouse Boy, I have irrefutable evidence that I found it.
