Twin Peaks Prop – Bill Owens Postcard in Jacques’ Apartment
Here’s a deep cut that I enjoy as both a Twin Peaks prop aficionado and a Northern Californian – a postcard from Jacques Renault’s apartment in Twin Peaks episode 1.005.

My examination of Twin Peaks costumes continues with a look at Leland Palmer (Ray Wise) from Season 1. Similar to Audrey Horne, there were two costumers since Leland appeared in both the Pilot episode and episodes 1.001-1.007.
As a collector of prop replicas, I love it when an item is featured so prominently that it’s easy to identify the make and model. There are several clear shots of Donna Hayward’s cassette player as the gang listens to tapes that Laura has recorded for Dr. Jacoby.
I would love to see the mind of Special Agent Dale Cooper in action. You know, like a Twin Peaks version of Disney-Pixar’s Inside Out (I mean Kyle MacLachlan did voice Riley’s dad in that film). The closest I’m going to get is new artwork from Geo Law that is part of a collaboration with Society6 celebrating…
“If I had a nickel for every cigarette your mom smoked, I’d be dead.” – Donna Hayward in Twin Peaks – Fire Walk With Me Donna Hayward utters one of my favorite lines from David Lynch’s Twin Peaks – Fire Walk With Me during a visit to the Palmer house. Last weekend, I kicked off a new recurring series that examines costumes worn by a variety of actors in Twin Peaks. That first Costuming Peaks story looked at Audrey Horne’s outfits in the Pilot episode. Today, I’m examining her looks from episodes 1.001 to 1.007. Grab your saddle shoes and let’s go!

“You simply have got to teach me some of these incredible songs.” – Ben Horne, Twin Peaks, Episode 1006 The music of Twin Peaks was my gateway to David Lynch and Mark Frost’s wonderful and strange world. Following the departure on the Norwegians in the Pilot Episode, Jerry Horne courts a new investment group that has a…
With lots of time at home during the global pandemic, I scanned images from the Red Room Gallery in the Twin Peaks – From Z to A collection. This curated set of 5” x 5” printed cards depict memorable moments from all three seasons of Twin Peaks and Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me.
As the celebration of the 30th Anniversary of Twin Peaks continues, I return to one of the first film locations I visited in August 1996 – Kiana Lodge in Poulsbo, Washington. This location served as The Great Northern Hotel interior for the Pilot episode. I’m focusing on the Concierge Desk, which first appears in the…
