I recently shared a comprehensive look at all of the exterior shots of the Palmer House in Twin Peaks. Two homes in Washington State were used in the series – one located in Monroe and one in Everett. I had the opportunity to visit the latter home following the 1996 Twin Peaks Fan Fest.
While researching Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, I caught a scene where Laura Palmer walks through the hallway at Twin Peaks High School. She’s on her way to meet Bobby Briggs and holding a paperback novel in her hand. Which novel is she carrying?
While attending the 1996 Twin Peaks Fan Fest in Washington state, I visited several of the film locations from Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. The former Fall City Grill, located at 4050 Fall City-Carnation Road Southeast in Fall City, was the location of Hap’s Diner (see this article for more details about the location). This is…
Let’s return to the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Department for Part 4 in a series the Vacant Peaks series featuring this location. This first part in this series covered the Pilot Episode, Season 1 and Episodes 2001 and 2002 in Season 2. The second article covered Episodes 2003-2007 in Season 2. Part 3 explored the emptiness found in Episodes…
In Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, Special Agents Chet Desmond and Sam Stanley visit Hap’s Diner for dinner following their early morning examination of Teresa Banks’ body at the Deer Meadow Sheriff’s Department. Since I adore the first 35 minutes of David Lynch’s 1992 masterpiece, this location is one of my favorite spots. While its…

I first visited the trailer park in 1996 during and impromptu stop on the Twin Peaks Fan Fest bus tour. But where…
I woke today to news Pamela Gidley, the actress who played Teresa Banks in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, passed at the age of 52 on April 16, 2018. I’m sad I never had an opportunity to meet her. Like Special Agent Chet Desmond, I was captivated by her eyes. I can understand why David…
The Utility Pole first seen at the Fat Trout Trailer Park in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me has fascinated since I first watched the movie in October 1993. Perhaps that’s because it played a part in my favorite two-minute scene in Twin Peaks. Or it could be because I got to see the real utility pole…
My love letters to the Fat Trout Trailer Park continues with the start of a new series called “Vacant Peaks.” The now closed InTwinPeaks.com website inspired this series. There was an article on the now defunct site that showcased empty rooms in Twin Peaks. I love the scenes and moments without people. These fleeting images…
