The majestic White Tail Falls in Twin Peaks is first introduced to viewers during the opening credits of the Pilot episode. In reality, the falls are known as Snoqualmie Falls in Snoqualmie, Washington. This Setting the Stage story takes a look at the falls as seen throughout the three seasons of Twin Peaks.
This Setting the Stage article about the Hayward House exteriors surprised me. For some reason, I thought I would find more exterior shots of the home in Twin Peaks. Unlike the Palmer House, only a handful of exterior shots were seen throughout Seasons 1 and 2, and Twin Peaks – Fire Walk With Me.
The Hayward House in Twin Peaks used two film locations. An exterior of a home in Monrovia, California was used in Seasons 1 and 2. For the Pilot Episode and Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, the home was located in Everett, Washington. This time, I’m taking a closer look at the latter home built in 1910.
For this Vacant Peaks article, I’m wrapping up Season 2 at The Great Northern Hotel with a look at Episodes 2014-2022. The Salish Lodge & Spa served as the exterior location for The Great Northern Hotel. All interior scenes in these episodes were shot on a set located in southern California.
