In the Pilot Episode of Twin Peaks, there are two short scenes of James Hurley sitting on a mountain overlook holding a necklace with half a gold heart.   In reality, this scene was shot outside of Snoqualmie, Washington at a spot now known as Snoqualmie Point Park.

The former Brook Theater in Snoqualmie, Washington served as the film location for Mo’s Motor in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. This now demolished film location holds a special place in my heart thanks to the 1996 Twin Peaks Fan Festival and Craig Miller and John Thorne’s excellent Twin Peaks magazine, “Wrapped in Plastic.”
During the 1996 Twin Peaks Fan Fest, I visited the site of Weyerhaeuser’s former Snoqualmie Mill. For some reason, this is the only photograph I took of the mill that once served as the exterior location for the Packard Sawmill in Twin Peaks.
