Twin Peaks Prop – Coffee With The Chief

Coffee with the Chief sign

I spotted this sign while watching A Very Lovely Dream: One Week in Twin Peaks by Charles de Lauzirika on the Twin Peaks Season 3 Blu-ray. I love the little details like this poster used at the Twin Peaks Sheriff Department.

TWIN PEAKS SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT – COFFEE WITH THE CHEIF SIGN

Coffee Cup clip art

Here’s an interesting little detail from the poster design in case you wanted to make your own version.

A quick search of the coffee cup image revealed it’s a stock illustration created by Seamartini in April 2012. You can download the vector illustration of the coffee cup on DepositPhotos.  The vector ID is 10197220, and it’s described as “Coffee and tea cups symbols for fast food design.”

It appears the artist who created the poster for the show changed the color of the steam above the coffee cup, and removed the left bottom shadow.
