Oregon Symphony Plays the Music of Twin Peaks and Angelo Badalamenti in May 2025

Conductor Sarah Hicks and the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall

The music from David Lynch and Mark Frost’s Twin Peaks is inextricably linked to their wonderful and strange world. Angelo Badalamenti’s tunes were my gateway to a decades long journey and I never tire of listening to the soundtrack. That’s one reason I’m thrilled the OR-E-GON Symphony is featuring this music during a hauntingly surreal evening on Wednesday, May 28 at Portland’s historic Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. It promises to be an evening to remember for fans of the show and Lynch’s work.

Featuring various selections from Angelo Badalamenti’s iconic score, fans are invited to return to the legendary town for a “dreamlike waltz through the shadowed Washington pines, with compositions so surreal they feel pulled from another dimension.”

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in downtown Portland’s Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall or the “Schnitz” located at 1037 SW Broadway Ave. (at Main St.).

Locals now call it “The Schnitz.” The venue plays host to a variety of presentations including classical, jazz, pop, rock, folk and gospel music, dance, theatre, travel films, conferences, and weddings.
