This past week, I woke up from a dream with the idea for this article (no rock throwing was involved). Since David Lynch and Mark Frost’s Twin Peaks first aired on the ABC Television Network in April 1990, there have been many variations on the series logo. Granted, some of these variations are based on graphic design choices for packaging and layouts. Nevertheless, we see many variations in color, shape, and design. Here is a look back at those logos organized by year of when they were first seen.

This is a work in progress so more logos will be added as I find them. Click on images to enlarge the graphics. I’m saving the Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me logo for a different article.

Bookhouse Boy and long-time Twin Peaks fan shared this tweet in Nov. 2016 analyzing the changes in the logo from the original to the new Showtime version.
A "Twin Peaks" fan since October 1993, Steven Miller launched Twin Peaks Blog in February 2018 to document his decades-long fascination with David Lynch and Mark Frost's wonderful and strange show. With his Canon camera in hand, he's visited numerous film locations, attended Twin Peaks events and conducted extensive historical research about this groundbreaking series. Along with fellow Bookhouse Boys, he dreams of creating a complete Twin Peaks Archive of the series and feature film. Steven currently resides in Central Florida.

I’m thankful for your dream and you collecting these logo variants here. Like it alot 💚
In a link preview to this blog post, that I can’t find anymore, I read something about the logo font you created as a font file to use for own texts in the Twin Peaks logo style. Did you delete that? I’d love to have that 😍.
