Studio 35 Cinema and Ray Wise

I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. When I hear of Twin Peaks events taking place in my hometown, I naturally pay strict attention. This time, the complete run of David Lynch and Mark Frost’s wonderful and strange show will be screened at Studio 35 Cinema and Drafthouse beginning in April 2026. To kick off this twelve part series of screenings, Ray Wise (who played Leland Palmer) will return to the small, two-screen theatre for a conversation with Mike McGraner on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19.

This isn’t the first time Twin Peaks has been shown at the family-owned, two-screen theatre known for good times, a full bar with 40 draft beers and in-house pizza kitchen.

On July 19-21, 2019, the theatre screened David Lynch’s Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me with a special appearance by Ray Wise and Sheryl Lee. This was the first of many screenings and conversations with Ray and/or Sheryl hosted by Mike McGraner. You can find a trip recap from my experience in this Twin Peaks Blog article. Needless to say, it was an incredible weekend filled with memories I’ll never forget.

More recently, I saw Ray and Mike at the North Bend Theatre in Snoqualmie Valley, Washington last February for the Real Twin Peaks 2025 event. Their conversation and question and answer session is something not to miss – I’ve never laughed so much. Ray is the consummate entertainer and storyteller as he shares memories from Twin Peaks and his long acting career.
