‘Twin Peaks’-Inspired Depressious Moments Figurines by Natalie on Etsy

Log Lady, Owls, Dale Cooper figurines

Every so often while browsing for unique items from my favorite television show, I stumble upon something so creative that I have to write about it. Today, I found Depressious Moments by Natalie on Etsy while looking for an Australian VHS of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me from 1994. While I didn’t find the video tape, I fell in love with Natalie’s Twin Peaks-inspired creations that turned Precious Moments figurines into iconic characters from the show.

DEPRESSIOUS MOMENTS BY NATALIE ON ETSY

Based in Hudson, Florida, Natalie has been on Etsy.com for the past seven years. She launched Nat & Her Week of Wonders storefront as a result of “peer pressure.” Her online bio reads: “Full of psych meds and Halloween spirit, [Natalie] thought she might turn a cute little Precious Moment into a terrifying zombie. One Moment led to another… and another… and an obsession was born.”

She turns the Precious Moments figurines into works of art featuring pop culture characters such as Buddy the Elf, Nandor the Relentless from What We Do in the Shadows, Steve Zissou from Wes Anderson’s The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou and many more.

Precious Moments is an American catalog order company that sells giftware, including collectible porcelain figurines. Illustrator Samuel J. Butcher started the licensing company in 1978. Their figurines typically depict children with teardrop-shaped eyes and often have religious overtones. My mother collected these figurines for years so I am quite familiar with the company. But I never thought to do what Nat has made

At first glance, I immediately thought of the modified figurines displayed in the Hurley home during the first two seasons of Twin Peaks. It only seemed fitting that Nat would have Twin Peaks-inspired designs.

The Depressious Moments Instagram account launched in August 2025 and includes a number of previously made creations. You can request custom figurines via the Etsy shop.

THE LOG LADY FIGURINE

On September 16, 2025, Nat posted an image of this Precious Moment members only figurine from 1993 titled, “Loving” and an image of The Log Lady from Twin Peaks episode 1.005 on the Instagram account. She asked if followers knew what she was making.

Three days later, she posted images of the finished figurine. It’s fantastic! I loved it so much that I purchased one offered on her store today.

The Instagram caption read, “One day, my log will have something to say about this. – Log Lady.” She had another behind-the-scenes video making The Log Lady figurine on Nov. 20, 2025 (that one shipped to a home in the Pacific Northwest).

For the Etsy shop, the description read: “One day, her log will have something to say. Here’s your chance to be there when it happens. Vintage Precious Moments figurine altered to be lessp recious and lovingly hand painted in varying stages of sobriety. Original: Members Only “Loving,” 1993. Made to order – may differ from photo. You will receive photos of your item to ensure you are satisfied before it ships.”

THE OWLS ARE NOT WHAT THEY SEEM

Precious Moment figurine

On November 23, 2025, she posted her second Twin Peaks-inspired figurine – two owls sitting on a branch from a 1993 figurine titled, “Owl always be your friend.”

“I’ve been binge watching Peaks while making a few commissions, so I had to start this little side piece,” wrote Nat as the video shows her preparing the owls. A second video also posted on November 23 shows more of her work to “deprecious” the figurine. A third video was shared on November 25 as she completed the owl figures

The figurine is currently available on Etsy with the caption, “Still trapped in the Black Lodge reading Laura Palmer’s secret diary? Snag these little guys for your bookshelf or as a gift for your pie-loving friend.”

THE RED ROOM WITH DALE COOPER FIGURINE

The third Twin Peaks-inspired figurine features Special Agent Dale Cooper in the Red Room. Nat posted about this commission on November 25, 2025. It included a sculpted cherry pie, a Double R Diner mug filled with hot, black coffee and Cooper’s tape recorder. The inside of the book he’s holding said, “Fire Walk With Me.”

The base for the Dale Cooper commission was Precious Moments figurine from 1995 titled, “God’s Love.”

Nat made a second Cooper figurine which is currently for sale on Etsy. She posted about this figure on December 1, 2025 – “This little guy is a commission and I’m OBSESSED with him… he’ll be an open edition in the Etsy shop.” This figurine includes a small light that acts as a strobe to recreate a trip through the Red Room. The final figure was revealed on December 7.

Congrats Nat on such a creative endeavor. I can’t wait to add The Log Lady to my own Twin Peaks collection.
