Following a successful two days on Feb. 21 and Feb. 22 at the Real Twin Peaks 2025 event, day three on Sunday, Feb. 23 began with a bus tour of filming locations and concluded with a concert at the historic North Bend Theatre with Wisteria Lodge and sneak preview of a new film by Richard Green. Here’s a look back at the day’s activities.
REAL TWIN PEAKS ON SUNDAY, FEB. 23, 2025
The third day of the Real Twin Peaks 2025 event offered tours, panel discussions, a fan film festival, a pinball tournament, a concert and a sneak preview of a new film by director Richard Green (the Magician from Mulholland Drive). For those who missed check in on Friday and Saturday, they could stop by Pressed on Main in North Bend between 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

I greeted the day by checking out of the Roadhouse Restaurant and Inn in Fall City. The morning weather definitely made me feel like I was in Twin Peaks.
I relocated to the Salish Lodge & Spa in Snoqualmie for breakfast. Their Twin Peaks Day menu is one of my favorite things from this annual celebration. Since the Dining Room was still under construction, meals were served in the lobby bar area.

Unlike my first encounter with this menu in 2023 where I ordered everything, this time I chose the “Policeman’s Dream” – house doughnuts with lemon curd – and “Jerry’s Baguette” – Macrina bread with brie and butter – plus a cup of hot, black coffee.
VIP BUS TOUR OF TWIN PEAKS FILM LOCATIONS
At 9:00 a.m., VIP Ticket holders gathered at the North Bend Park & Ride for a bus tour of filming locations in Snoqualmie Valley. Since we were unsure how many VIP Ticket holders would attend the tour, two Lily Coaches were arranged to transport guests. Event co-organizer Mary Hütter had asked me to facilitate one of the tours the night before during the Twin Peaks High School Prom.

For years, I have been tracking film locations for Twin Peaks Blog, offering history of the locations and details around the show’s production. I was honored to join Twin Peaks expert and long-time fan Josh Eisenstadt who has previously offered these tours for fans. You can read the recap in this article on Twin Peaks Blog.
During our stop at Snoqualmie Falls, we couldn’t see much of the mighty Snoqualmie River due to the intense waterfall following hours of overnight rain. What a sight to behold!
PANEL | TWIN PEAKS FASHION: A DISCUSSION

While the bus tours were taking a place, a panel was held at 10:00 a.m. inside the former Twin Peaks Wellness Boutique in North Bend. Titled, “Twin Peaks Fashion: A Discussion,” Lauren Lowell, Professor of Costume Design at Illinois State University School of Theatre, Dance and Film, was joined by Laura Haskell, Costumer and Soft Goods Craftsperson, who shared their thoughts about fashion in David Lynch and Mark Frost’s wonderful and strange show.
You can see the entire discussion in this Twin Peaks Blog article.
FAN FILM FEST AT THE NORTH BEND THEATRE
The one challenge I face during the Real Twin Peaks events is I’m unable to get to everything such as the Fan Film Fest held at the North Bend Theatre from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. The caption on the North Bend Theatre’s Instagram post about the fan film festival read: “We have a fantastic program lined up of Twin Peaks inspired shorts, music videos, and Lynchian films from all over the world! Seriously, this is going to be awesome!”
This is the ticket attendees received for attending the festival, which included a photo I took of The Salish Lodge & Spa and Snoqualmie Falls during a previous trip to Snoqualmie Valley.
Here is the original uncropped photograph (with a few adjustments made in Lightroom). I never tire of seeing the falls!
PANEL – LET’S TALK ABOUT PROPS, BABY AT NO BOAT BREWING COMPANY

At 1:30 p.m. in No Boat Brewing Company, Vinnie Guidera and I were joined by Twin Peaks season two prop master Jeff Moore to discuss props and set decorating. This panel discussion was such a treat, especially since Vinnie and I have been identifying props used in the show for years. Jeff discussed his work on the show including sharing an anecdote about how the Circle Brand logo was created for Leo Johnson’s “new shoes.”
Vinnie also brought several screen-used props from his collection including Donna Hayward’s Monarch Luggage, Co. suitcase.
While at No Boat Brewing, I picked up several cans of their West Coast Pale Ale created for Real Twin Peaks 2025 called, “The Hops Are Not What They Seem.” Damn fine, beer!
RUN SILENT FLIP LOUD – PINBALL TOURNAMENT AT VOLITION BREWING CO.

The ever popular “Run Silent, Flip Loud” pinball tournament returned to Volition Brewing Co. in North Bend, Washington.
Before it was an awesome local brewery, this location was used as Nadine Butler Hurley’s “Run Silent, Run Drapes” in Twin Peaks: The Return.
Pinball is featured in the second season of the show with two machines found inside the Roadhouse.
Real Twin Peaks attendees and other local residents joined in the tournament which was a $5.00 cash buy in to play and costumes were encouraged.
Prizes for winners included some merchandise from local businesses like Snoqualmie Trading Co. and Volition Brewing’s own line of merchandise.
Participants in the pinball tournament received a poster with the Real Twin Peaks logo and artwork inspired by the location. It’s is a slightly updated poster to the one offered in 2024 with an image of David Lynch found in the bottom left corner.
No trip to Volition Brewing would be complete without sampling handcrafted beer. They updated their chalkboard menus with digital displays which had a background image of the opening credits for Twin Peaks: The Return. Their beers are always changing and they offer non-alcoholic, hard seltzer and ciders.
For the weekend, they brought back their Golden Shovel, a British-style Golden Ale inspired by Dr. Amp’s tool to “shovel your way out of the shit.” It’s fantastic and a must try when visiting the brewery.
Volition Brewing is a great spot for just hanging out. It was nice to see a few friends gathered to enjoy the pinball tournament.
This entire weekend was filled with wonderful folks whom I’m glad I’ve met because of Mark Frost and David Lynch’s show.
It’s also been fun running into other Twin Peaks fans who’ve visited Twin Peaks Blog. Hearing how they have referenced the blog for finding film locations or learning more about this show fills my heart with joy.
WISTERIA LODGE PLAYS THE NORTH BEND THEATRE

At 6:00 p.m., Wisteria Lodge, the classically trained vocalist Lady K and outlaw multi-instrumentalist Dustin Carpenter (“Dusty Highway”), took the stage of the North Bend Theatre just down the street from Volition Brewing. This Pacific Northwest “magickal” music duo played music from their first album “Spoken Secrets” and their sophomore album, Odessa Plains, which they were finishing at the time.

Their set included a few cover songs along with a surprise a cappella rendition of “Just You” after the power went off in the theatre. You can see the entire show and more concert photos in this article.
SNEAK PREVIEW OF “I KNOW CATHERINE, THE LOG LADY”

Following Wisteria Lodge’s performance (and with power restored to the town of North Bend), the historic North Bend Theatre held a sneak preview of a new film beginning at 9:00 p.m. Fans who attended this free screening were treated to one of the first screenings of Richard Green’s I Know Catherine, The Log Lady.
This film is the true story of the “inspiring death and big, big life of Catherine Coulson, cult icon as the Log Lady.” Pulitzer winning playwright Robert Schenkkan and Oscar winning director David Lynch created new works for her. Celebrated actors, producers, directors, writers, cinematographers, family and friends “all came together at her death bed to help her play her most iconic role one last time.”
Green interviewed people who worked with Catherine including David Lynch, Grace Zabriskie, Kyle MacLachlan, Kimmy Robertson, Mark Frost, Lisa Loomer, Michael Horse, Jenny Sullivan, Dana Ashbrook, Fred Elmes, Nicolas Meyer, Robert Schenkkan, Bill Rauch, Timothy Near, Mindy Alper and more.
Before the screening began, Richard was surprised with special birthday greetings from Beth Burrows and the entire theatre. What a unique place and moment to celebrate another trip around the sun.
Richard, who you may recognize as The Magician from Club Silencio in David Lynch’s Mulholland Drive, then introduced the film.
After the screening, Richard held a conversation with attendees where he answered questions about the documentary and provided additional insight.
It was great seeing the film which I had first heard about at the Festival of Disruption held in Brooklyn, New York in May 2018.
Richard is such a wonderful storyteller so getting this opportunity to hear from him in a theatre where Catherine Coulson once stood was such a delight.
In the lobby after the film and conversation concluded, fans could purchase merchandise, including artwork by the film’s featured artist Alexandra Shurun. You can find themed merchandise on the film’s online shop.
Folks who attended the screening spoke with Richard in the lobby after his conversation concluded.
Special thank you to Kevin, Beth and Sam Burrows from the North Bend Theatre for hosting such a unique moment during the Real Twin Peaks 2025 event.
With the night’s activities completed, I headed back to the Roadhouse in Fall City to rest up for one more day.
