Twin Peaks 35th Anniversary Collection on Paramount Shop

This year, David Lynch and Mark Frost’s wonderful and strange Twin Peaks celebrates its 35th anniversary. To mark the occasion, Paramount Shop, the official online store, has released an anniversary collection with new artwork inspired by the icons from the series.

TWIN PEAKS 35th ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION ON PARAMOUNT SHOP

On Tuesday, April 8, the Paramount Shop online store released a Twin Peaks 35th Anniversary collection. They described the collection in an email marketing this new collection inviting fans  to “Celebrate 35 Years of Surreal.”

The main landing page for the online store contained a banner image of two previously released Twin Peaks apparel items against a chevron floor pattern. Unlike the email blast, this banner invited shoppers to “Celebrate 35 Years of a Classic! Shop gear from David Lynch’s Twin Peaks Today” (no Mark Frost? Come on, he’s just as important!).

Here is the same banner image without copy. The shirts may look like they were placed on the set used in Twin Peaks: The Return, however, they were just inserted over the background in something like Photoshop.

There were seven new products released as part of this collection including shirts, hats, sweatshirts and a pillow. They join two Owl Cave symbol-themed items released earlier this year.

TWIN PEAKS CITY UNISEX HEAVY BLEND ZIP-UP HOODIE

The only Twin Peaks 35th Anniversary logo item is a unisex heavy blend zip-up hoodie. The front left pocket of the hoodie contains a stylized Twin Peaks logo with the numbers “35.” The back graphic contains several icons from the show including mountains that resemble The Log Lady’s tattoo, an Owl Cave symbol and the repeating chevron floor pattern from the Red Room.

Paramount Shop offers multiple images of a model wearing the hoodie. Sizes range from small to 5-XL. The item numbers range from TP-101729-0001-TP-CYZHO to TP-101729-0008-TP-CYZHO (0001 = small to 0008 = 5XL).

Retail for this zip-up hoodie is $47.95 US.

TWIN PEAKS OWL CAVE FLEECE CREWNECK SWEATSHIRT

I don’t recall seeing Twin Peaks merchandise with this symbol before this year. This artwork is featured on an Owl Cave fleece crewneck sweatshirt that is offered in colors of either red or sand.

The original logo was drawn by Special Agent Dale Cooper in episode 2.018, which combined tattoos found on Major Briggs and The Log Lady.

Cooper and Sheriff Harry Truman would later find this symbol on a rock wall inside Owl Cave. I love that Paramount Shop is offering a deep cut for the 35th anniversary.

The online store has multiple model photos of both a male model wearing the red and sand-colored fleece shirt.

There is also a female model sporting the Owl Cave symbol shirt. The back contains the “Twin Peaks” logo printed just below the neckline. A stylized show logo is found near the cuff of the right sleeve.

TWIN PEAKS MAJOR BRIGGS MESSAGE T-SHIRT

A delightful surprise is the Major Briggs Message T-Shirt which contains a “Twin Peaks” logo on the front left chest and the graphic seen in Major Briggs’ message to his son Bobby in Part 9 from Twin Peaks: The Return.

This message was discovered outside the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Department after Bobby’s mother gave him a silver tube she kept hidden in a family chair for decades. Bobby opened it by throwing it on the ground to create a resonance. The message gave directions to visiting 253 yards east of Jack Rabbits Palace on 10/1 or 10/2.

The shirt is offered in either a soft cream or white color and it’s made of 100% combed and ring-spun cotton, pre-shrunk fabric. The online product description reads:

TWIN PEAKS PATTERN UNISEX CREW NECK SWEATSHIRT

The final apparel item is a Pattern Unisex Crew Neck Sweatshirt that was inspired by the Red Room, complete with a black and white chevron floor pattern and Owl Cave symbol. The shirt has a retail of $54.95 US.

TWIN PEAKS OWL CAVE CLASSIC DAD HAT

The first of two hats released for the 35th Anniversary include the Owl Cave Classic Dad Hat which contains the Owl Cave symbol in a black circle. Retail is $24.95 US.

Two different model photos show how the hat fits. It is a one size fits all so there is only one item number – TP-101082-0007-TP-OCSY.

The term Dad Hat describes the type of style and fit for this cap. It’s a more relaxed fit and has a vintage-inspired look. Dad Hats typically have a curved brim versus a Snapback hat that has a flat brim and adjustable back with snaps.

TWIN PEAKS LOGO CLASSIC DAD HAT

The second Dad Hat contain a stylized Twin Peaks logo that is featured on multiple products created for this anniversary year. Retail is $24.95 US.

The Paramount Shop online description for this Dad Hat reads:

The product is black, not “twill/Green Camo” color as noted above. I’m guessing the copywriter just cut and pasted the description.

Like the Owl Cave hat, this hat is one size fits all, so there is only one item number – TP-101082-0001-TP-LGSDH.

TWIN PEAKS ACE OF SPADES THROW PILLOW

The final item for the Twin Peaks 35th Anniversary collection is a Ace of Spades Throw Pillow that was inspired by the playing card Mr. C has in Twin Peaks: The Return.

The Ace of Spades playing card is first seen in Part 2 when he shows it to Darya at the cheap Buckhorn Motel. The card was created by the Twin Peaks crew using a deck of Pavilion Playing Cards (as detailed in this story).

The back of the throw pillow contains a stylized logo with the words “Twin Peaks” instead of “TP.” The online store description reads:

Bring the mysterious world of Twin Peaks into your living space with this stunning Twin Peaks Ace of Spades Throw Pillow. Featuring the iconic owl card image from the hit TV series, this decorative pillow is perfect for fans who want to add a touch of supernatural intrigue to their home décor.

Paramount Shop is offering the pillow in two sizes – 18-inches by 18-inches or 22-inches by 22-inches. The product photos show both sizes with the first column being the smaller of the two sizes.

Retail for the 18-inch pillow is $32.95 US while retail for the slightly larger pillow is $34.95 US. There are two corresponding item numbers – TP-100882-0001-TP-OWCP2 (18-inch) and TP-100882-0003-TP-OWCP2 (22-inch).
