The Hollywood Show recently announced a private singing with Lara Flynn Boyle who played Donna Hayward during the first two seasons of David Lynch and Mark Frost’s Twin Peaks. This signing is scheduled to take place in mid-July 2024 and it’s the perfect opportunity to have something autographed by the actress.
HOLLYWOOD SHOW PRIVATE SIGNING EVENT WITH LARA FLYNN BOYLE
You may recall I recently discussed the Twin Peaks cast and crew reunion held at the Hollywood Show in October 2010. Since 1979, The Hollywood Show is a well-known pop culture event held quarterly in Southern California and Chicago. Attendees can interact with actors, writers, and performers while collecting autographs and taking photos with the stars. Since 2008, the Hollywood Show is owned by entertainment industry veteran David Elkouby and his wife Ester Elkouby.
Occasionally, the company will host private signing events with actors who will not be appearing in person at the Hollywood Show events. Around mid-July 2024, Lara Flynn Boyle will be participating in one of those private signings. There are some important details about these signings including dates are subject to change without warning:
- Personalization requests CAN be accommodated for this signing. Character names are additional ($20), so you can select that option when ordering.
- No quotes will be allowed for this signing.
To participate, the easiest thing to do is visit the Private Signing page and browse the images of Lara Flynn Boyle. They are offering a mix of images from both Twin Peaks, The Practice and other publicity shots. Place an order and checkout.
The Hollywood Show’s Instagram account posted additional options about the private signing.
Orders placed will ship 3-4 weeks after the signing has taken place. It takes time to process, pack and ship as the private signing events are busy.
LARA FLYNN BOYLE IMAGES FROM TWIN PEAKS
I selected this publicity shot of Boyle wearing a sweater seen in Twin Peaks episode 1.006.
She wears it while listening to audio recordings by Laura Palmer on her Realistic SCR-34 radio and cassette player.
This publicity image is part of a sequence of shots that were used in several publications and newspapers to advertise the show’s first season. It must have been shot around the time episode 1.006 was being shot in Southern California. We never see Donna Hayward, James Hurley and Audrey Horne in the Double R Diner wearing these outfits.
This is the original uncropped image which show more of the Double R Diner counter and the Gruen wall clock.
The image of Donna Hayward holding an Harold Smith’s orchid is from episode 2.003.
This is a publicity shot of Lara Flynn Boyle as Donna Hayward. She’s wearing the sweater seen in episodes 1.001 and 1.002 when James Hurley joins her family for dinner.
This is another publicity shot of Boyle taken during the series production.
This photo of Lara Flynn Boyle, Sherilyn Fenn and Mädchen Amick was taken by Matthew Rolston when he photographed the trio for Rolling Stone magazine in August 1990.
I’ve also seen this shot with the trio and the word “Dangerous.”
It may come from The Empire Collection Volume Nine.
Rolston’s image of the trio in jeans and tank tops is probably more recognizable.
It’s an alternate take compared to the one that appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone in October 1990.
RAY WISE COMING TO THE HOLLYWOOD SHOW IN OCTOBER 2024
Since we’re talking about the Hollywood Show, Ray Wise is returning to the event being held on October 18-19, 2024 at the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel.
Ray Wise is a gem and I highly recommend meeting him in person.
