As a nice follow up to yesterday’s artwork by Geo Law, the Twin Peaks X Society6 collection released a new piece by Bunny Miele today. There are so many icons and symbols throughout David Lynch and Mark Frost’s masterpiece. Bunny does a fantastic job recalling several of them in her new work.
The Twin Peaks X Society6 collection is no longer available as of 2024. This article is an archive of the artwork featured in this collection released in 2020 for the 30th anniversary of David Lynch and Mark Frost’s wonderful and strange series.
JUNE 5 – BUNNY MIELE
Nashville-based freelance illustrator and designer Brianna “Bunny” Miele drew this beautiful work above with one of my favorite icons – the Blue Rose.
By now, you should know my obsession with Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. I was particularly happy to see Bunny placed the flower in the center of her drawing (some say it was Laura who is the one, but I think it is the Blue Rose).
The Society6 website offered an alternate image of her work.
I found a few of those symbols to create the image above. It’s amazing how one object brings back a flood of memories about the show, whether it’s The Log, Diane Evans’ cigarette’s or Pete Martell’s fish-filled percolator.
THE PRODUCTS
Bunny’s artwork was offered as a print, framed print and a canvas wrap. There was also a small sticker that’s perfect for a laptop.
THE ARTIST
With a love for Twin Peaks, coffee, and vintage yearbooks. Bunny graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design from O’More College of Design in 2014. Her passion for books led to a student job at O’More Publishing and an internship at Thomas Nelson Publishers.
Post-college, she owned a successful Etsy shop, worked as a portrait artist, and is now looking to be a designer full-time. Follow her on Instagram (@BunnyMiele) or check out her online site.
She also had other artwork available on Society6, such as this X-Files-inspired design of Agents Mulder and Scully.
