OFFICIAL SHOWTIME STORE
The first stop for official Twin Peaks licensed products is the Showtime Store. Launched in late 2016 with Season 3 returning to the small screen after a 25-year hiatus, this official store include shirts, mugs, blankets, and more, featuring favorites from the Double R Diner, the Red Room, and the reasonably priced Great Northern Hotel.
I selected a handful of items that caught my eye including the Twin Peaks replica signet ring by Rocklove Jewelry, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me ugly sweater or the Twin Peaks Sheriff Department beanie.
The t-shirt with the postcard image is actually the postcard from the Double R Diner menu. Fun fact – the image is from the Asulkan Valley, Glacier National Park in British Columbia, Canada.

In the 1990s, I loved reading Craig Miller and John Thorne’s “Wrapped in Plastic” magazine. Each issue was filled with wonderful and strange analysis from my favorite television series. Laura’s Ghost: Women Speak About Twin Peaks – In Laura’s Ghost: Women Speak About Twin Peaks, Courtney Stallings examines Laura Palmer’s legacy on the 30th anniversary of Twin Peaks. Palmer’s character was one of the few frank and horrific representations of sexual abuse victims which did not diminish the strength and complexity of the victim. This book is a reckoning in which women from the show and community speak about grief, mischief, humor, sexuality, strength, weakness, wickedness, and survival. MUSIC FROM DEAN HURLEY
One of my favorite albums this year is Dean Hurley’s “Anthology Resource Vol. II – Philosophy of Beyond” (you can read my Love Letter to this album here). Dean, who operated and managed Lynch’s Asymmetrical Studio from 2005-2018, created a dreamy sonic landscape with this new release that is a wonderful follow up to Anthology Resource Vol. 1.

SNOQUALMIE VALLEY HISTORICAL MUSEUM
Twin Peaks was shot at several locations in the Snoqualmie Valley between the towns of Snoqualmie, North Bend, Fall City and others.
