In Twin Peaks Part 14 on Showtime, Deputy Andy Brennan is transported to the Fireman’s House. He is shown a series of images projected above him on a white dome. While researching this set for a Vacant Peaks article, I became fascinated with the superimposed images of Special Agent Dale Cooper and Mr. C in the Black Lodge.
DEPUTY ANDY BRENNAN IN THE FIREMAN’S HOUSE
As Deputy Andy Brennan gazes up in the episode, he sees two shaky, superimposed  shown on a white dome. This scene was shot at the former Tower Theatre in downtown Los Angeles, California. I wonder who exactly shot the shaky images of black suited Cooper and his more sinister counterpart Mr. C.
In the behind the scene documentary, “The Number of Completion” on the Twin Peaks Season 3 blu-ray, Lynch is seen operating a camera on the set of Frank Truman’s office in the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Department. Could it have also been Lynch for Part 14?
LOVE LETTER TO TWO COOPERS IN TWIN PEAKS PART 14
When the two images of Cooper and Mr. C are combined, the results become more like abstract artwork. I grabbed more than 100 still frames from this short sequence. Presented below are some of the more interesting images.
