One Eyed Jacks is a casino and brothel located in Canada, near the Washington border. For this Vacant Peaks article, I’m taking a look at the empty spaces from this establishment without people.
VACANT PEAKS – ONE EYED JACKS
One Eyed Jacks appeared only in the first two seasons of Twin Peaks. The location’s first appearance was in episode 1.002 and its last appearance was in episode 2.010. In Twin Peaks episodes 1.002, 1.006, and 1.007, the crew used a private residence in Agoura Hills, California for some of the exterior and interior scenes. Other scenes, such as Blackie’s office, hallways, Emory Battis’ ice bucket room and more, were shot on a set at City Studios (now Occidental Studios) in Van Nuys, California.

A "Twin Peaks" fan since October 1993, Steven Miller launched Twin Peaks Blog in February 2018 to document his decades-long fascination with David Lynch and Mark Frost's wonderful and strange show. With his Canon camera in hand, he's visited numerous film locations, attended Twin Peaks events and conducted extensive historical research about this groundbreaking series.
