In Peter Castro’s “Chatter” section of People Weekly magazine from May, 7, 1990, Dana Ashbrook discusses everyone asking him if he knows who killed Laura Palmer in “Twin Peaks.”

Ray Wise was interviewed by Russell Smith from the Dallas Morning News about his roles as Leland Palmer in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me and Chet McGregor in Bob Roberts.

An advertisement was published by Columbia House Video Library offering the Twin Peaks pilot on VHS for $4.95 (plus shipping and handling).

According the Oneline Production schedule for “Northwest Passage” which later became “Twin Peaks,” the first day of production on the pilot episode was on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1989. On this day, scenes were shot in the towns of North Bend and Snoqualmie.

People Weekly magazine offered what they described as a “complete guide to Twin Peaks” in their May 14 issue. This guide contained several stories about the show’s first season, including a two-page map detailing “Who’s Who” in the show.
