Attendees to the Real Twin Peaks 2024 event didn’t have to travel to Canada to attend The Pink Room Dance Party held on February 23 in Snoqualmie Valley Eagles in downtown Snoqualmie. DJ Dwaine “The Dreamer” Wheeler provided hours of incredible Twin Peaks music paired with mesmerizing video – it was unlike anything I had ever seen. While I didn’t find many turkey dogs, event attendees from around the world continued “chug-a-lugging” into the early morning hours.
THE PINK ROOM DANCE PARTY
Advertised as part of the first day’s activities, The Pink Room Dance Party was included with the VIP A-D tickets. Non-VIP guests could purchase tickets at the Snoqualmie Valley Eagles.
Upon arrival at Snoqualmie Valley Eagles, located at 8200 Railroad Avenue, Snoqualmie, guests were created with an illuminated “Let’s Rock” sign.
Once checked in, each guest received a “Let’s Rock” hand stamp.
Snoqualmie Valley Eagles has event space, spacious dance floor and a bar with pool tables. The perfect spot for a dance party.
When I arrived shortly after 10:00 p.m., I was greeted with the music (and video) of The Cactus Blossoms, the Roadhouse band who played at the end of Part 3. I should have realized at that moment that the night would be special. DJ Dwaine hails from the great state of Ohio where I was also born and raised. The mix would only get more amazing as the party continued on.
Here is a five-minute sampling of the party captured throughout the night. Watching this again, I wanted to be transported back to the Pink Room. What a night!
DECORATIONS INSIDE SNOQUALMIE VALLEY EAGLES
I particularly loved seeing the giant “CAN-A-DO And US Of FU*KING ‘A'” sign recreated from a deleted scene in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. It would have been seen when Laura Palmer and Donna Hayward enter the bar with Buck and Tommy.
The faithful recreation was impressive and a nice deep cut for super fans like me.
Inside Eagles, attendees could have their photo taken in a recreated Red Room set, complete with Saturn lamp and a cup of coffee … coffee … coffee.
Eagles also has the bar and several booths from the former Fall City Diner which served as the film location for Hap’s Diner in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. Just don’t ask about their specials.
DANCING ALL NIGHT LONG
The Pink Room Dance Party lived up to its name – the party continued until after 1:00 a.m.
The fog and strobe light effects only added to the Pink Room vibe.
Later in the evening Trinidad Flores joined DJ Dwaine on stage for even more music.
A nice on-screen cameo by Mary Reber, who owns the Palmer House in Everett, Washington and played Mrs. Tremond in Twin Peaks – Part 18.
SOME OF YOUR FRIENDS ARE HERE
The best part of the party was hanging out with so many friends who love Twin Peaks as much as I do. Even the “Mayor of Twin Peaks,” Karl Reinsch attended the party!
I loved finally meeting Carson (a.k.a. Twin Peaks Townie) in person. His photography of the Pacific Northwest is inspiring. He has an incredible eye and you should be following him on Instagram.
I also met someone who was visiting from France. He happened to be in the area for the weekend and skipped over to attend the event.
I love this fact as during my first visit to Snoqualmie Valley for the 1996 Twin Peaks Fan Festival, I met Pierre, a fellow Twin Peaks fan from France, outside the former Alpine Blossom and Gift Shoppe in North Bend. Something in the universe is telling me to visit France.
It was truly a wonderful ending to a perfect first day of Real Twin Peaks 2024.

Thank you to Snoqualmie Valley Eagles for hosting the party.
