Twin Peaks X Society6 – A Place Both Wonderful and Strange

The Society6 celebration of Twin Peaks‘ 30th Anniversary continues with new artwork featuring one of my favorite lines from the show.

The Twin Peaks X Society6 collection is no longer available as of 2024. This article is an archive of the artwork featured in this collection released in 2020 for the 30th anniversary of David Lynch and Mark Frost’s wonderful and strange series.

A place both wonderful and strange
Episode 2.018

I adore this quote from Special Agent Dale Cooper in Episode 2018 during his visit to Owl Cave (I even paraphrased the line for this blog’s description). It perfectly summarizes why I enjoy David Lynch and Mark Frost’s masterpiece.

The trees Anna used remind me of the gorgeous packaging used for the Twin Peaks – From Z to A Collection. There is something mysterious about the woods of the Pacific Northwest that I truly enjoy.

Trees of Twin Peaks
Episode 2.014

I also found a cool transition shot in Episode 2014 when Deputy Dale discusses Caroline and Windom Earle with Sheriff Truman that looks similar. I’m assuming these trees are from Snoqualmie Valley (maybe even near or above Snoqualmie Falls).

THE PRODUCTS

Society6 Items from Anna Dorfman

Anna’s artwork was featured on a variety of products including home decor, apparel, tote bags and drinkware. I’d love the wall mural but I’d have to convince my wife that it would be a good thing for the house (I haven’t succeeded with her letting me install Gordon Cole’s mural …. yet).
